I'm super excited to have my next guest, Dan Woog on the Hockey Journey Podcast. He grew up in the state of hockey and carved out an impressive career, eventually earning a college roster spot at the University of Minnesota, and we're going to find out how he did it. If you think the road he had to travel was easy, well, if almost dying in a rock slide near his South St. Paul home was part of the plan, being told he'd never walk again, and if he did, it would be with a limp, I want to see how he climbed out of that challenging experience and realized his hockey dream! Dan's hockey journey is part one of the story, being the son of one of the most influential, iconic hockey individuals Minnesota has ever produced, my coach at the University of Minnesota, is part two of the story. I really enjoyed going back to a period of time on my hockey journey, that shaped me and prepared me for what I didn't know then, but would eventually end up being a 12 year professional career, and my experience at that school prepared me to take advantage of that once in a life-time hockey opportunity!
