Summary
Become a DIEHARD! alldlls.com/join After consecutive home losses to the New Jersey Devils and the Montréal Canadiens, the Dallas Stars are looking for a “get right” game as they close out their season-long six-game home stand against the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at American Airlines Center (7 p.m. CT). The Stars won the first three games of this home stand, so they have a chance to finish 4-2-0 with a positive result tonight. David Perron will make his Dallas Stars debut tonight, officially beginning his 20th NHL season. Esa Lindell will return from injury, after missing the last five games with a lower body injury. Columbus has not had a great start to the season and are currently down near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, although they do have a couple games in-hand on the teams directly above them. Former Stars head coach Rick Bowness, was hired as a mid-season replacement last year and he led the Blue Jackets on a fierce push over the back half of the season, which ultimately fell just short of a playoff spot. Bones was extended for another year, but they will need to find some rhythm after playing one of the lighter schedules in the league in October. On tonight’s DLLS Stars Pregame Show, we will discuss all the big storylines, we will take a look at the expected lineups and get you ready for puck drop at American Airlines Center. Expected starting goaltenders: Jake Oettinger (DAL) vs. Jet Greaves (CBJ).
