Summary
Become a DIEHARD! alldlls.com/join Looking for their fourth win in a row, the Dallas Stars will host the Winnipeg Jets tonight at American Airlines Center (7 p.m. CT) for the first of four regular season meetings - all of which will be played before Christmas. Mikko Rantanen’s 11th career regular season hat trick, his first as a member of the Stars, lifted Dallas to a 3-2 OT win over the Boston Bruins – a thrilling way to kick off their six-game home stand. Dallas will face Winnipeg four times over the next eight weeks, but the Jets are the only Central Division opponent during this season-long home stand. The Jets got off to an impressive 4-1-1 (9 pts., 0.750) start to the season, but are now winless in their last three games (0-2-1), all by one-goal margins. Winnipeg is also dealing with the media circus surrounding the Connor Hellebuyck trade request and the subsequent team suspension, which will come to an end tomorrow AND preparing for playing an outdoor game at home on Saturday (Tim Horton’s Heritage Classic) against the Montréal Canadiens. On tonight’s DLLS Stars Pregame Show, we will discuss all the big storylines, hear from both coaches, we will take a look at the expected lineups and get you ready for puck drop at American Airlines Center (7 p.m. CT). Expected starting goaltenders: Jake Oettinger (DAL) vs. Stuart Skinner (WPG).
