Episode Description
Summary
Become a DIEHARD! alldlls.com/join Dallas Stars forward Wyatt Johnston did not miss a game for his first four NHL seasons (2022-2026). Five games into the 2026-27 season, he came down with an illness that forced him to snap his consecutive games played streak at 333. Johnston missed both games of the home-and-home back-to-back series between the Stars and the Colorado Avalanche, of which the two teams each won their respective road game. Johnston flew to Chicago on Friday evening and is confirmed to be returning to the lineup tonight as the Stars face the Chicago Blackhawks for the first of four meetings this season. The Blackhawks started the year without their new captain, 21-year-old Connor Bedard, who was recovering from an off-season shoulder injury. Chicago went 1-5-0 without Bedard, but have won both games since he made his season debut on Tuesday (Oct. 13) against Pittsburgh. On tonight’s DLLS Stars Pregame Show, we will discuss all the big storylines, we will take a look at the expected lineups and get you ready for puck drop at United Center (6 p.m. CT). Expected starting goaltenders: Jake Oettinger (DAL) vs. Spencer Knight (CHI).
