Summary
New Jersey Devils goaltender Jake Allen talks 500 NHL games, raising three daughters and life off the ice with Emily Haydel in the first episode of Emily in Jersey.
In an interview recorded ahead of the milestone, Jake shares what has helped him build a lasting NHL career, why being a good person comes first and how his daughters keep him up to date on K-pop. He also explains why his first appearance on Hockey Night in Canada left him more nervous than anything he’d done on the ice.
Plus, giving back through Program 34, his wife Shannon’s involvement with Operation Shower and a round of “Block or Not” covering game-day conversations, family movie time and a hypothetical Oscars assignment.
