Small Area Ice Skating Drills

There are many options outside of regular team practices to work on your skating skills.
I spent a ton of time at public skating when I was a kid, and I see a lot of players out there nowadays as well. There's just one problem: it can get pretty darned packed out on the ice. No linear crossover, no long strides, no top speed: it just gets too dangerous.
However, there is often a small strip of ice somewhere in the corner where the recreational skaters aren't crowding the entire time; a small area where you can still work on your skills amongst the crowd.
In this video I block off a really small piece of my backyard rink, and show you some drills that require no material and hardly any space, but will still really improve your skating.
