Summary

The Anaheim Ducks beat the Calgary Flames 4-2, but the win came with some major injury concerns. Jackson LaCombe got the Ducks on the board, Frank Vatrano got a lucky bounce for a goal, and Ryan Poehling scored Anaheim’s first short-handed goal of the season before leaving the game with an apparent leg injury. Ville Husso had a great game in net, giving the Ducks some much-needed confidence in their backup goaltending situation and hopefully allowing Lukas Dostal to get some rest. Between Cutter Gauthier leaving the game early, Poehling’s injury, AJ Greer’s healthy scratch, and some questionable lineup decisions, there’s a lot to unpack after this Ducks win. The Ducks get a few days off before facing the Flames again at home on Tuesday, so hopefully the injury updates are good news! #nhl #anaheimducks #hockey #icehockey #leocarlsson #CutterGauthier #calgaryflames ✅ Check out our partner!
