USA Hockey runs two national sled hockey events: the Sled Classic for NHL-affiliated adult clubs, and Sled Nationals for youth and adult teams at every classification.
USA Hockey Sled Classic, Presented by the NHL
Round-robin play for NHL-affiliated adult teams
The Sled Classic is an annual round-robin tournament. Clubs must have an official affiliation with an NHL member team and wear licensed NHL jerseys with that club's marks.
The first Classic, in 2010, had four teams and 46 players. USA Hockey's coverage of the 15th Classic (December 2025, hosted by the Islanders) listed 27 teams and 350 players, plus a women's sled showcase game.
The Vegas Golden Knights host the 2026 Classic, November 5–8, at City National Arena and America First Center in Las Vegas.

USA Hockey-Honda Sled National Championships
Youth and adult teams, nine tiers
Sled Nationals bring teams from every level of sled hockey, including youth, to compete for national titles.
The 2024 event expanded to 1,080 players on 60 teams in nine tiers: six adult and three youth. Games stream live on USAHockeyTV.com.
The 2026 championships were April 30–May 3 at Children's Health StarCenters in McKinney and Farmers Branch, Texas, hosted by the Dallas Stars. Eleven teams took first place in their classifications.
USA Hockey prohibits event photography and video unless it is approved under the Sled Hockey Event Guidebook.
